Diego Vega is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 5-9 163 lb. frame from Añasco, PR who attends Luis Munoz Marin. Slender athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, starts with a big and high pull back load, full extended swing with present bat speed, mid field to pull side contact, showed the ability to make swing adjustments during the games, barreled the ball up with good jump off the bat and some pull side power. 6.92 runner in the sixty. Showed good arm strength in the middle infield with some foot quickness and soft hands. Good student. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
