Alex Wallace is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-7 200 lb. frame from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA who attends Santa Margarita Catholic. Extremely long and lean build. Works from the stretch with simple and repeatable mechanics, uses his length to get down the mound well. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, plenty more there as he gets stronger, fastball has some run that got into right handed hitter's hands. Change up was his primary off-speed pitch, shows well when he's on line to the plate. Slurve type breaking ball will likely move to more of a slider in the future. Has an idea how to pitch and is very projectable.
