Tripp Schroeder is a 2023 C/3B with a 6-1 230 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends Carmel. Strong athletic frame. Primary bacstop that displays slight side saddle set up with ultra quick exchanges into accurate from ear strikes to the bag. Ample feel to receive. Could benefit from gaining more consistency in the feet. At the plate, has a hitterish look with ability to generate leverage. Utilizes a toe tap timing mechanism. Approach geared towards the pull side. Presnt strength in the hands at impact. On the mound, operates with simple repeatable delivery with fastball that features slight arm side run to it. Arm action creates deception. Gets on top of his fastball at times and it has the down angle that makes it tough to square up. Curve has a small rolling break, 12/6. When the secondary stuff improves, Tripp could pitch at higher levels to go along with his catching. 7.04 60-yard. 1.90 pop time. Named to the Top Prospect list. Great student.
