Maximus Mayes is a 2025 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Calvary Christian. Athletic build with good present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread slightly open stance with a wrapped barrel load, long and strong swing with good bat speed and some impact off the barrel, swung the bat well during the games and showed his power potential. 7.62 runner in the sixty, uses his speed aggressively on the bases. Primary third baseman on defense, has good lower half quickness and is active with his lower half, works low behind the ball, throws have some carry across the diamond. Also played the outfield with good aggressiveness and athleticism. Took a turn on the mound, high leg raise delivery with a compact arm circle and a high 3/4's arm slot, high front glove lever to pull down. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, showed big depth on a 12/6 curveball, filled up the zone with both pitches and challenged hitters with strikes. Nice all around athlete who plays hard. Excellent student. Named to the 14U Florida Showcase Top Prospect List.
