Luke Brown is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Pinnacle, NC who attends East Surry. Recorded a 7.73 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher moves from a full windup into a high leg lift through the chest and falls to the plate with good direction while working with a three-quarter arm slot. His fastball is in the upper part of the zone topping 82 mph and sitting 78-82 alongside a tight breaking ball with 10/5 action. Brown took ground balls in the infield showcasing good glove actions and range with athleticism throwing 79 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with high hands and a narrow stance with a toe tap trigger as he primarily swings with his upper body working the ball middle to opposite field approach. Tremendous student.
