Pierce Collins is a 2024 C/MIF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Valrico, FL who attends Bloomingdale High School. A taller frame with room to keep adding strength into the frame. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a one-knee setup with a quick arm on display. Kept throws one-hopping into the tag zone and showed off the flexibility in the lower half as he worked through the throwing motions. Also worked out in the infield with some softness in the glove, especially to the backhand. Uses longer strides, staying low to the ground. Controlled his actions and his lower half well. Athletic mover in the field. A right-handed hitter with a narrow base and low hands, swinging upward with some fluidity to the barrel. Attacked pull-side during his round of BP. Produced a 77 mph exit velocity with his best contact being arm side. Excellent student.
