Roderick Tanamor is a 2023 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Assumption. He has a tall frame with a thick build with present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Primary shortstop that does a nice job of taking the proper angles and getting into a good fielding position. He showed nice feel for the glove and worked through the ball well. He has soft hands and made clean transfers before throwing accurately to the base. Right-handed hitter that starts in a narrow stance with even hands. He uses a leg lift trigger for timing. He has a smooth swing and stays on balance throughout. He has quicker hands and is able to generate nice bat speed. He has a line drive approach and made consistent hard contact throughout his round. Named to the Fall Midwest Top Prospect List.
