Evan Jackson is a 2021 RHP with a 5-9 157 lb. frame from Janesville, WI who attends Milton HS. Lean athletic build with longer arms. Primary right handed pitcher. Stretch only. Utilizes a high leg lift staying square to the plate through delivery while landing closed at landing creating some cross fire actions. Employs a compact arm action throwing from a three-quarter slot with quickness to the arm. Showed the ability to command the bottom of the zone with both a fastball with heavy actions through the zone at 81 miles per hour and a 10-4 slider at 72 miles per hour. Right handed hitter. Uses an upright open stance with a high hand and high back elbow. Showed the ability to create good bat speed with polished lower half mechanics and quick hands. Uses a middle to pull side line drive approach with the ability to lift the ball with jump off the barrel. Room for added power with growth and added strength. Excellent student.
