Edwin Delacruz is a 2020 C with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Ridgewood, NY who attends Grand Street Campus HS. Recorded a 5.54 second 40-yard dash time. Large physical frame with lots of well-proportioned strength present. Primary catcher with quickness to the exchange and a stationary lower half. Raw arm strength is impressive and was recorded up to 76 mph. Best pop time of 1.99 seconds thanks to very quick actions and can improve with additional lower half direction. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, good bat speed, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Flashes leverage to pull the ball with strength off the barrel. Looseness to wrists and has big power to the pull side. Named to the 2019 NE Indoor TP List.
