Santino Campoli is a 2022 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from New Castle, PA who attends Shenango. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.45 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance with high hands and back elbow, rotational approach, line drive plane, bars a bit into load, whole-field approach with good plate coverage, will improve as he incorporates his lower half more. Worked out in the infield, playable hands with good footwork, gets into good fielding position and stays balanced, works through the ball well, smoothness to arm stroke with arm clocked up to 73 mph. Also pitched, closed stride downhill, fastball worked 72-76 mph with some sinking life, showed curveball with big shape. Very good student.
