2021 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Khalil Claxton is a 2021 OF/UT with a 6-0 173 lb. frame from Hampton, VA who attends Kecoughtan. Medium height and athletic look to the frame with lots of room to fill out. Ran a 6.82 in the sixty yard dash. A primary outfielder, waits on the ball to read hops before moving through with and extended glove to the side. Clean arm stroke with projection for more arm strength. A right-handed hitter, starts even with the base with some rhythm in the hands. Stays on top and works down through the ball looking to back spin line drives. Some quickness to the wrists and keeps a solid middle approach. Good student.
