Tyler Spencer is a 2023 SS/RHP/2B/3B/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Freehold, NJ who attends Colts Neck. Spencer worked from a lean athletic build with some more room to add strength and fill out. From the infield, he showed soft hands with solid transitions and sound footwork. He flashed the ability to change arm slots and successfully make throws on the run. On the mound, Spencer displayed good tempo from a high 3/4 arm slot. He pounded the zone and was efficient with a mid 70s FB and a curveball that he commanded as an out pitch. Offensively, Spencer used a rotational approach that generated consistent contact with good bat to ball feel. As strength builds, power potential will also increase. Ran a 7.88 60 yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
