Andrew Allison is a 2024 RHP/3B, MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Coral Glades. A larger frame with a physical build. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a side step as he works into a leg lift up around the belt. He had some looseness and whip to his arm action. Threw from a higher three-quarters arm slot. His fastball was 77-80 T82 mph with arm-side run to it. He showed the changeup, which was at 75 mph, throwing it against left-handed hitters. He replicated arm speed well. His breaking ball was in the upper-60s and had good 11-5 shape to it. It was slurvy at times but was efficient. Solid first inning of work, including handling a comebacker well, and fielding his position to secure an out. Punched out 4 hitters over 2.0 innings pitched. A right-handed hitter who had an upright stance with slightly open feet. Had high-set hands and a high back elbow, getting into a big stride forward. Had some bat speed and strength showing. He lets the ball travel and was able to produce some solid line drives to the middle of the field, with his best contact coming to the opposite field. Produced an 84 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also worked out as an infielder. He moved fine laterally, getting the glove down to field the ball and work into the throws. Had some zip on the throws, which were at 84 mph, with fielding actions that funneled up the middle of his body. Picked up a base hit during the games portion of the event. Good student.
