Jackson Avery is a 2025 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Timber Creek. Primary outfielder with average size and some athleticism to the build. Showed solid speed with a 6.90 second sixty. Waits back on the ball a bit in the outfield with a measured approach working through the ball with cleaner actions making accurate throws to the bases with some carry out of the hand. Starts square on the mound with a side step into a belt high leg lift while sitting into the back leg with a medium arm circle up to a high three-quarters arm slot while staying online with the lower half. Showed the fastball and curveball for strikes topping out at 78 mph and mixing in a 12-6 shaped breaking ball in the mid 60’s. Right-handed hitter starts in a compact crouched stance using a toe tap trigger. Stays simple with the swing getting the hands to the inner half of the baseball while working mostly to the middle of the field with flashes of getting extended to the pull side. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
