Rafael Flores is a 2021 OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Palmetto Bay, FL who attends Christopher Columbus HS. Recorded a 7.32 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with an athletic build and room to fill out. Primary outfielder who moves quickly and smoothly to play behind and through the ball with momentum. Sound transition and is a twitchy athlete with throws recorded up to 81 mph into the infield. Lefthanded hitter with a line drive swing plane and good extension out in front of the plate. Very good bat speed with power to the pull side. Strong swinger with an open spread out stance and a still start. Swings with intent and makes consistent hard contact to the pull side. Upright stance with the ability to work to the pull side consistently. Good student. Named to the 2019 Sunshine East TP List.
