2022 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Max Bachmann is a 2027 SS/RHP/IF/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Colleyville, TX who attends Fort Worth Christian. Bachmann works out of a projectable build with young strength present and additional room to fill out. He worked from both the IF and OF, getting behind the ball well at the latter with athleticism going beyond the actual performance. At SS, Bachmann displayed natural movements with softness to the hands, controlling the body well on the run. He flashed range up the middle with sound footwork as well. Arm strength is expected to increase in the future. On the bump, the righty worked with good tempo using a clean arm action and 3/4 slot to record outs. The FB had solid life on it with rpm up to 1951, as well as a curve in the arsenal displaying 12-6 shape. Offensively, Bachmann was balanced and loose, flashing whip to the barrel with repeatability to the stroke. He started from a wider even base with contact and early power tools to build on in the future. Ran a 8.15 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
