Max Matteucci is a 2025 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-0 177 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Valor Christian. Large frame with some strength to the build. Ran a 7.45 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays back on the ball some but gets to it clean, slower transitions through is funnel, fields it off to the side and has some arm strength to project improved throws on. Also pitches, repeats his delivery well and works down in the zone with three pitches, throws lots of strikes, sinks the fastball some, showed a slurve-shaped breaking ball with depth that he can land and turned over a straight changeup with lower spin. Right-handed hitter, big load on the back side, gets long through the zone and moves in hard, has good length to the swing and strength off the barrel, got more comfortable late and able to produce some hard contact. Translated it to game action with a hard double to the pull gap. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
