Griffen Haas is a 2023 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 196 lb. frame from Fishers, IN who attends Hamilton Southeastern. Solid athletic build with good strength in his hips and lower half. Works from the stretch with a deep arm action and some shoulder tilt, hides the ball well, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, plenty more velocity in there as he matures physically, fastball is mostly straight. Curveball was a quality pitch that he could have used more often, gets over it well from his high release point and creates downer break and depth. Developing change up. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance, swings hard with some lift in his swing and has a chance to develop some power in the future. 7.32 runner. Very good student.
