Karsen Luther is a 2023 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Conroe. Large frame with a physical build. Primary first baseman, athletic for size and moves around the spot well, plays low at the ball and fields it clean and confidently, good balance into his throws and showed solid arm strength across the diamond. Also pitches, athletic delivery with a short quick arm stroke, higher release and sinks the fastball a bit in the upper-70s, good feel for the zone and showed some comfort with a bigger breaking ball. Right-handed hitter, even base and limited move in, clean and quick stroke with some length through the zone, good strength behind the swing and extends well out front, able to create some leverage at points and hit some really hard to the middle, strength projects to carry the profile. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
