2023 Rocky Mountain Workout Showcase (Fri.)
Easton Kretzer is a 2024 1B/3B, OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Chaparral. Lean, athletic build with room to add additional size in the upper half. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, some arm strength across with accuracy, limited lower half in throws, has an idea, solid footwork around the bag, coordination and feel for it here, solid round overall. Secondary outfielder, hunched over approach, gathers to the side, similar arm ability here in the grass, passive actions. Right-handed hitter, even, high hands and back elbow, short double toe tap trigger, late hand move to letters, showed some ability to lift it at times, tries to create level path, showed some backside pop late in the round. Great overall frame here and flashed the ability to get the ball in the air with some authority.
