Anthony Giglio is a 2023 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 225 lb. frame from Coconut Creek, FL who attends Coral Springs Charter. Extra large frame with a physical presence. Strength showing throughout. Ran a 7.71 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he looks to keep it in front of him. Glove gets down late at times. Gathers it up and then works into transfer. Threw it 76 mph during drills. Young actions present around the bag. Secondary Right-handed Pitcher, working into a medium lift to shorter stride. High slot release as he worked downhill. Fastball up to 80 mph with arm side run as he worked both the inner and outer half of the plate. Did not show any other pitches. Right-Handed Hitter, narrow and upright to start. Hands get high working into a hover lift. Quiet hands throughout the motions as he lets the lower half create bat speed. Pull-side approach as he looked to lift and drive it for power. Proved to have thump in the bat when he got extended through the baseball. Good Student.
