Troy Bruce is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Apple Valley, CA who attends Granite Hills. On the mound, He delivers out of an angled windup that shows rhythm through the motion and high three-quarters arm slot. He shows no problem working down the plane with tempo. The fastball shows some arm side life and was located well to both side of the plate. The breaking offering he puts forward is a hard short breaking slider with moderate tilt. The competitiveness shines through when he's on the hill. At the plate, he sets open, upright, and narrow with hand drop to match the plane. There's a subtle striding load that works into a linear path. He is still developing the strength to impact baseballs. 7.28 60-yard. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
