Tyler Mendoza is a 2024 2B/SS, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Timber Creek. Athletic build with a medium frame. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Worked out as a primary middle infielder, showing off smooth actions. Bends at the waist with some snatchy hands that worked into the transfer. Shorter arm action to get rid of the ball quick. As a right-handed hitter, starts slightly open with the hands set high and back elbow up. Was able to use strength in the upper half to get extended and drive the ball. As a left-handed hitter, showed better control of the barrel and was able to get the bat through the zone quickly, using the lower half to generate hard contact. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
