Jimsharon Bearden is a 2023 OF/RHP, SS with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Orange, TX who attends Bridge City HS. Jimsharon is a solidly built and athletic player, who should continue to gain strength as he matures. He posted an impressive 6.95 60-yard dash. A primary OF, Jimsharon showed consistent fundamental ability. He is deliberate, but sure with his positioning and actions to field. His glove plays and his 78-mph throws show carry and routine accuracy. On the hill, Jimsharon mixes two pitches. He works down hill and uses plus pace and rhythm. He is a command and control RHP who thorws his FB 73-76 mph FB to both sides of the plate. He mixes in a 62-mph CB to keep hitters honest. At the plate, Jimsharon starts with a wide base and open stance. He cuts it loose, too. He shows quickness and strength with each pass. When his timing is right, he has impressive pop. Lastly, and impressively, Jimsharon is an excellent student.
