Emiliano Dominguez is a 2024 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Linfield Christian. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 9.29 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front and shows athleticism to action, repeats mechanics and movements well, gathers behind the ball and works to a lower arm slot but can vary with intent on throws across, arm strength will continue to develop, short steps on the charge. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box; upper body dominant swing with limited weight shift through lower half. Loads hands back at start of swing, long path through the zone with a contact oriented approach. Shows ability to get the barrel out front and work to all parts of the field, can implement additional lower half into swing.
