Fernando Marte is a 2020 3B/ with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends The Facing History School. Recorded a 5.47 second 40-yard dash time. Compact frame with lots of room to project on the build. Primary third baseman with short steps to the ball and deliberate actions. Accurate from a lower arm slot and arm strength is currently developing with throws recorded up to 71 mph. Righthanded hitter with a narrow base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Downhill swing plane with an upper half dominant swing. Consistent and repeatable stroke and looks to get the hands out in front quickly. Some barrel awareness throughout the swing and power projects with additional strength. Good student.
