Keynen Gomez is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Visalia, CA who attends El Diamante HS. Recorded a 7.61 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with a still projectable frame. Primary shortstop with soft hands and clean, quick footwork. Good feel for the position and moves well on the dirt. Throws recorded up to 73 mph across but should improve with strength. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a high three-quarters arm slot and a high leg kick. Fastball generated some arm side run and topped out at 80 mph. Smooth delivery with a quick arm action. Throws the curveball for strikes and maintained velocity. Righthanded hitter with an even base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Turns the barrel well and has some whip to the stroke. Gets the barrel out and has very loose hands. Found the barrel with consistency and showed present and projectable bat speed. Great student.
