Davis Wilson is a 2024 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Rivers Academy. A primary first baseman with a larger build. At first base he approaches the ball with choppy steps breaking down well and receiving the ball out front, the footwork on the double play feeds was good with a short arm action getting the ball across accurately. On the mound he worked from the stretch only with a leg lift above the belt showing a long arm action to a traditional arm slot, the fastball sat 68-73 mph in the zone a good bit and getting outs as he also showed a curveball in the low 60's to go along with it. Right-handed hitter, starts even using a low leg lift with some loft in the bat path as he flashed bat speed through the zone at times. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
