2022 13U/14U California Workout Showcase (Sunday)
Dylan Kemp is a 2027 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-4 125 lb. frame from Tustin, CA. Features a smaller build with room to add. Ran a 7.68 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Displayed patient approach throughout defensive workouts. Showed the ability to catch the routine ball. Short arm action produced fairly accurate throws on a regular basis. Maintaining momentum into throws would help generate more arm strength. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a square stance with a slightly wider base. Simple toe tap timing mechanism allows for the head to remain still pre-pitch. A linear bat path stays on plane through the zone. Showcased the ability to go the other way consistently. Continuing to add strength to the build will help increase bat speed and power. Young player with time to develop further on both sides of the ball.
