Ethan Clauss is a 2025 SS/2B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Palo Verde. Long and slender athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder with smooth and fluid actions through the ball on defense, very balanced and under control, nice hands out front, smooth release from multiple arm angles, polished overall actions that will keep improving as he gets stronger and faster. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a hanging front let load, has a short hands driven swing with a line drive swing plane, some young ability to get the barrel out front and turn the barrel over. Projects in all areas of the game. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
