Louis Alonzo is a 2023 1B/RHP with a 6-1 188 lb. frame from Cedar Park, TX who attends Cedar Park. Large frame with a pretty physical build. Primary first baseman, quick active actions around the bag, plays well at the ball and quick into turns when necessary, big arm strength across clocked up to 89 mph on throws. Also pitches, simple operation with good arm talent on the mound, up to 87 with good extension on the fastball, heavy life to it at times and plays well north and south, does show some feel to miss bats with the breaking ball in low-70s with 2100+ RPMs. Right-handed hitter, balanced base and clean move in, quick and compact stroke with looseness to the wrists, creates good leverage out front and extends well through it, hit some balls hard to the pull side, easy things to project on. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
