LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Danny Giannetti is a 2025 1B/IF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Roseland, NJ who attends West Essex. Long and lean build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a good lower half shift into contact, solid overall hitting mechanics that he repeats well, works the middle of the field with line drive contact, projectable swing and will keep improving offensively in proportion to how much strength he gains. Primary first baseman on defense, has good lower half actions and nice balanced footwork, moves well to both sides, puts himself in position to make accurate throws. Key to his development is simply getting stronger.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
