Blake Hall is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Toney, AL who attends Hazel Green. Medium frame with a young, slender type build showing some room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 7.80 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, proved to have some range laterally as he took long strides to cover ground. Funneled the baseball out front and then shuffled into transfers. Accurate to the bag as he threw it 78 mph. Feel showing and will make big strides with a strength gain. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a higher leg lift as he stays compact in the delivery. Medium arm circle in the back and then generates some whip with the arm. Filled up the zone early with a two pitch mix. Fastball up to 78 mph as he worked both sides of the dish. Also mixed in a slider in the mid-60's that got swings & misses. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced while slightly open with the front side. Hands are lower as he works into a floating load. Feel for the barrel showing as he utilized a linear swing path. Looked to drive it back up the middle and found the bat head with success. Mechanically sound swing. Outstanding Student.
