2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Rylen Stockton is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends IMG Academy. He has a medium frame with some strength in the build. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who used a side-saddle and moved athletically through the throws. He had a quick transfer and quick release. He gets upright in his release and made adjustments well behind the plate. Threw 70 mph down to second with a 2.13 pop time. A right-handed hitter with an even base and some strength showing. He rotates through contact and was able to use the whole field during his round of BP. He has some strength in his hands and worked pull-side with some juice. He had a feel for the barrel with some hand strength. Best contact came to the middle of the field. Was able to get extended as well. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Picked up a base hit during games. Good student.
