Tyler Young is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Hilton Head Island, SC who attends Hilton Head Island. Medium build with present length to the frame. Ran a 8.24 in the sixty yard dash. Right-handed pitcher who works from a higher three-quarter release. Fastball reached high-60s with a curveball that showed developing feel to spin its shape and develop consistency. First baseman, works aggressively to the ball with developing actions. Solid arm strength across to the bag. Right-handed hitter, even base and big leg load into launch. Rotates hips well and worked the middle of the field in his round. Can improve on both sides as he develops more strength. Very good student.
