Keagan Meece is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Nolensville, TN who attends Nolensville. Keagan ran a 7.38 sixty yard dash. Meece has a small slender athletic build with some projection in the frame. Primary outfielder he works to the ball well while fielding it way out front and to the side. He showed plenty of range with clean footwork while getting to the ball. Keagan makes accurate throws to the bases while occasionally spinning off. On the mound the left handed works a low chest leg lift with more of a drop and drive operation. There was some deception late in the arm stroke as he comes from a straight over the top arm angle. The upper 70s fastball had late ASR down In the zone while he threw it well to both sides of the plate. The breaking ball had a two plane 11-5 shape to it with plenty of depth and tightness. Meece showed a good sense on how to pitch and get batters out Left handed hitter works with a medium open base with a small leg lift trigger. He showed some feel for the barrel with easy extension late in the swing. Keagan gets good load in the backside while transferring the weight at contact. He showed a quick bat through the zone with some loft in the swing path. He showed a gap to gap approach. Meece is an excellent student.
