LJ King is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Centennial. Tall and slender build primary shortstop ran a 7.45 second sixty yard dash and threw 73 mph across the diamond. Light on his feet with a good first step, he showed good lateral range and threw from an over the top slot. He made accurate throws with a long arm action and gathers himself at catch before release. Secondary right-handed pitcher ran the fastball up to 78 mph and showed a big slow curveball in the high-50s. King has a repeatable delivery with a direct line to the plate and incorporates a full arm circle with a higher slot at his release point. Showed the ability to command the fastball glove side and land the slow curveball for a few swings and misses. Right-handed batter with a double tap stride and lands slightly open at impact. Gets the barrel out front and can turn on an inside fastball with a loud triple into the left-center gap. Outstanding student with a 4.0 GPA.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
