Jackson Cliatt is a 2024 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, UT with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Grovetown, GA who attends Evans. With a solid, very athletic, well-proportioned build showing present strength and nice dexterity. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.60 seconds. Primary position C, working from a higher initial setup and a bit offset. Shows some quickness with his feet in transition and squares up well to throw. Glove work is smooth, midline transfer to higher slot that produced throws up to 76 mph and a pop time best 1.97 seconds. Reps in the OF and IF as well. Glove work is on point and allows for smooth transfer to throw. Reached 84 mph from both spots here. Profiles as a corner defender and made repetitive accurate throws with carry. RHH working from a well balanced stance and simple hand position before delivering the barrel to impact with juice. Hanging leg lift that works to get him on time and showed natural loft, especially to the pull side. On the barrel with regularity and shows definite hitter traits. Intriguing offensive profile with excellent projection. Looks like an offensive backstop. Outstanding student.
