Ellery Smith is a 2026 C/RHP, SS, OF, UT with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Milton. Recorded a 7.97 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a high-waist frame and lean build. Square stance with even base setup on throws with a clean transfer. Replaces the feet to a short arm stroke and repeatable throwing actions behind the plate. Gaining ground with inline momentum will increase his arm strength and lower his pop times as he matures into his projectable frame. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a belt-high lift and high 3/4 arm slot release. More in the tank with increased intent and lower-half drive getting down the slope with present fastball up to 75 mph and changeup in the 60-62 mph range. Quick release in the outfield with deliberate footwork to gather working through the ball and throws to the bases at 69 mph. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance and high hands setup in the box. Knee-lift trigger short stride with slight separation of hands into slot. Works the middle to opposite field with increased impact as he adds size and strength to slender frame.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
