2023 13U/14U Ohio Valley Showcase
Jayzen Johnson is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Dahlonega, GA who attends Lumpkin County. Long, athletic build with present lean mass and size. Ran a 7.65 in the sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher, wide set towards middle of the rubber. Big leg lift into over-the-top delivery, quickness in his slot and finish down mound. Real intent, fastball topped mid-80s with cut and arm-side life. Advanced feel for a sharp slider with late 8-4 sweep and action to it, advanced for age. Promising shape and velocity difference in breaking ball. Also showed a strong arm in his outfield and infield drills. Throws packed with carry from grass and dirt. Athletic mover and uses size well. Quick release and real arm strength with good body control. Right-handed hitter, wide stance and even base. Solid strength works to the pull side with solid carry and backspin. Comes off louder at impact and power potential can really show as he develops added feel for barrel. Named to Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
