DJ Jones is a 2027 SS/2B, OF with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Home School. Young build with lean strength to the frame. Ran a 7.94 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good range to either side and obvious feel for the leather, gets the glove down and presents it nicely, developing arm strength but gets rid of it quickly, showed ability to change slots. Made countless great plays in game action as well. Right-handed hitter, slightly open with high hands and a high back elbow, swings it with intent and sprayed liners to all fields. Athletic process and found the barrel a bunch throughout the round and game action. Foundational swing to continue building onto as he gets stronger. Named to 2023 14u Georgia All-State Games Top Prospect List.
