2023 14U National Showcase
Trey Dorminey is a 2026 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Chula, GA who attends Tift County. Taller and lean frame with lots of room to add strength. Rana 7.51 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, good footwork and works through the ball presenting the glove on time and has a clean gather and release. Good upside here and stays under control to help accuracy across the diamond. Also worked out in the outfield with solid feel for timing and displayed in line footwork. A right-handed hitter, uses a higher leg lift trigger and lags the hands well. Works the pull gap and showed some line drive contact when out front. Loose swing that will play with strength. Also pitches, quick paced on the bump and has some shoulder speed. Lands on time and gets some deception with a slightly closed delivery. Everything projects well with strength and there is already feel for a three pitch repertoire. Excellent student.
