Kyle Jones is a 2023 OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Bogart, GA who attends North Oconee. Extra large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically. Ran a 6.70 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, good first step actions reading the baseball off the bat well. Proved to have range as well. Clean one handed gather to the side and worked into transfer. Carries weight to target well and released from a higher slot. Throws up to 90 mph with accuracy to the bag. Fundamentally sound with feel for the position present. Right-Handed Hitter, high hands behind the ear to start. Short stride out before working into a slightly lofted cut. Stays short to the baseball while proving he could generate backspin. Squared it up and drove it on a line into the gaps. Mechanically sound cut with a power projection as the frame fills out strength wise. Great Student.
