Horacio Cabrales is a 2022 1B/RHP with a 6-3 240 lb. frame from Lansing, IL who attends Thornwood HS. Recorded an 8.72 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with excellent strength throughout. Primary first baseman who fields out in front with two hands. Short arm action with good accuracy and developing overall arm strength. Righthanded hitter who swings hard with an inward toe tap into the stride. Shows good bat speed and clears his lower half well. Very good strength to the pull side with a lot of hard hit contact. Repeats swing well and shows very good impact when extended. Hits the ball very hard and posits future power. Verbal commitment to Illinois State.
