Andrew Sanchez is a 2025 1B/3B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Leander, TX who attends Rouse. Primary first baseman with an extra large frame showing physicality that plays in the tools. Shows solid actions with the glove and around the bag at first base. Does a good job with the footwork on the double play feeds getting himself in the right position to make clean accurate throws. Also showed good hands with an ability to pick the ball at first base as he showed in game action. Right-handed hitter starts with an even base and simple stride getting to a strong base at the point of contact. The simplified pre-pitch allows the strength in the hands to play out front as he gets good extension and does a nice job driving the baseball to all fields as he showed in game actions as well. Very good student.
