Trevor Breaux is a 2024 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-5 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Jersey Village. Trevor ran a 7,78 sixty yard dash. He has a extremely athletic long slender frame with a ton of projection going forward. On the mound Trevor showed a low 80s fastball topping out at 84mph as well as the ability to mix three pitches in the zone for strikes. Coming from a long low three quarters slot the fastball had a ton of arm side run to it which gathers plenty of weak contact as well as swing and misses. With his long lengthy frame he is able to generate plenty of momentum down the slope with some jump out of the hand. Breaux has a very clean athletic operation with some deception late. He showed a sharp two plane breaking ball with some bite to it as well as a Changeup that has a good gap in velocity from the fastball that thad late fade to it. At First Base Trevor showed good actions as well as he did a nice job staying low to the ball and fielding it out front. He caught the ball cleanly and made accurate throws across the diamond from a lower slot. Right handed hitter in the box starts from a wide even foot frame with a small toe tap trigger. Trevor starts with the majority of the weight on the front side then shifts it to backside with the load. He showed good ability to make contact while occasionally catching the ball out front. With added strength to the frame Trevor has a chance to be a really interesting player down the road. Breaux was named to the 2022 Deep South Prospect Showcase Top Team List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
