Colten Wolfe is a 2025 SS/MIF, OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Harper, TX who attends Fredericksburg. Primary short stop with a pretty lean athletic build showing room to add strength to the length. Ran a 7.03 second sixty. First step on the infield is solid with good actions on the back hand. Gets the ball out consistently with a clean transfer and some arm strength across the diamond. Works through the ball well in the outfield with confidence in the actions as he carries the momentum into a longer gather with good carry out of the hand on the accurate throws. Start in the middle of the rubber on the mound with a side step into a leg lift above the belt with a slight coil at the top. Does a nice job working on line to the plate with a shorter arm action to a high three-quarters arm slot. Stays online to the plate with a small drop and drive on the back side and shorter stride down the hill. Fastball sat 71-75 mph with developing arm speed while the curveball was the primary off speed with young spin traits landing with some depth. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base using a leg lift trigger while loading on the back side. Impacts the ball with some strength in the in the hands and an ability to get the ball in the air with carry to the pull side. Excellent student.
