Sean Wright is a 2021 C/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Boaz, AL who attends Sardis. Large frame with strength present in his lower half. Ran a 7.90 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up behind the plate with a side saddle base, comes up out of his crouch to an upright release, fires slightly across his body into throw downs, releases from a compact arm action and sidearm slot, developing arm strength currently, 2.16 second best pop time. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a balanced and slightly crouched stance, loads with a slight coil of his front leg, takes his hands to a downhill swing path to the baseball, young juice currently that will improve with additional lower half involvement and refinement to swing plane. Great student.
