Joel Arroyo is a 2026 OF/RHP, SS, MIF, IF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Virtual De Educacion Acelerada. A taller kid with some length throughout the build and some athleticism. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who worked choppy into it before crow-hopping into the throws which were at 91 mph. Fields the ball one-handed off the front foot and then let it rip, with lower slot throws and good carry to them. Accurate to the bag with fluid actions. Worked out as an infielder with a higher slot on his throws and firm throws across the diamond. Threw 89 mph across the infield to first during his round of reps, showing off his arm strength. A right-handed hitter with higher hands and a high back elbow. Had bat speed to get to it out front and work to the middle of the field during his round of BP. Had some strength at impact and good carry to the ball. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a medium frame a higher-set waist. Worked from the wind-up, starting with an even base and then side-stepping before getting into a leg lift up around the letters. Rides the slope downhill and then throws from a high three-quarters arm slot. Slow and deliberate actions on the mound. Fastball worked 76-78 T79 mph early on. Also showed a 12-6 shaped breaking ball. Excellent student. Named to 2023 Sunshine East TP List.
