Emerson Lane is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Bixby, OK who attends Victory Christian School. Medium size, compact frame. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with controllable athletic movements in the delivery and a repeatable arm action with a three-quarter slot. Fastball was dotted all around the zone and topped at 85 with some arm side sink. Breaking ball was sharp and efficient spinning above 2400 RPM and showing 11-5 shape. Real feel for turning over a mid 70's change up as well with fading action. Real pitchability on the mound, sequenced the stuff, changed eye levels and really threw the ball well. Also worked out at first base showing solid fundamentals with the ability to make all the routine plays. Hit from a slightly open stance with leg lift timing, developing swing mechanics, level path through the zone and an all fields approach. Named to Sunshine Midwest Top Prospect List. Very good student.
